Limitations of centralized systems and organizations

Challenge No. 3: Today’s prevailing centralized systems and organizations cannot deliver inclusionary infrastructure solutions that are able to scale

New challenges and democratization developments are difficult for today's mostly centralized, siloed organizational and technology structures, financial products and venture capital approaches. Decentralized and purposeful work that enables people to have "skin in the game" is only just beginning to emerge as a new and powerful driving force for our economy - but changes are already being felt in all industries. For example, AI technology will make certain jobs and industries redundant. Many new roles and an increasingly project-based, gamified way of earning a living will be created. The ever-growing Blockchain, DeFi and Metaverse communities are already proving on a daily basis how redundant traditional organizational and collaboration models have become and are already successfully building entire new ecosystems.

The need for infrastructure development, related services and innovative, decentralized financial products is constantly increasing, also thanks to a global population of more than 7.5 billion people. Most centralized solutions currently available are legally complex, costly to set up and require a lot of maintenance. They exist in parallel and hope to make a financial fortune. In doing so, they are not at all exploiting the potential of distributed ledger blockchain technologies and the myriad opportunities that arise from the convergence of the Open Metaverse and the real world. Therefore, decentralized ecosystems deal better with managing distributed intellectual property and with harnessing huge amounts of data based on Web3. At the same time they respect individuals’ data privacy. They can also solve governance problems in global projects and involve global communities on a large scale.
